Poor customer service
My first time using Stoneglow and unfortunately it was not a good experience. My order was never delivered by Evri resulting in much frustration trying to reach them (impossible) and then having to convince Stoneglow that there was a problem. It turned out there had been an error with my address which had not been picked up by Stoneglow as their orders go straight to Evri. After many calls, where they were initially not very understanding, SG finally re-sent my order via a different carrier. I have not used the diffuser refills yet, so cannot comment on them, but this delivery fracas has not left me with a warm feeling and I would hesitate to use them again. Seeing SG's response that this was actually my fault has furthered my opinion that their customer service could be improved. The fault lies in their system which did not pick up my address correctly for delivery but miraculously did for the billing address. When I suggested that they might like to check this with IT I was met with a "no can do" attitude. Yes, they eventually resolved the issue but with a lack of grace and by leaving me with the impression that the error was my fault. In no way has their customer service encouraged me to remain a customer. Stoneglow's Response: Hi Jenny, We appreciate you taking a moment to share your experience and your feedback is important to helps us improve our service. Unfortunately, we trade Monday to Friday and your communication about your address error reached us during the weekend and we were unable to respond immediately. But as soon as we reopened, we worked diligently to resolve the issue, engaging in a series of conversations, ensuring your parcel was returned to us and it was promptly re-delivered to you using a premier courier service.

I bought the 'the unwanted' candles before, I was very pleased with my previous purchases. This time, I am afraid I am not quite impressed. Just potluck, I suppose, for anything marked as 'unwanted'. I won't be in a rush to place any order soon, I guess. Thank you anyway.

Good value but disappointed with selection
This is the second or third time I've ordered the unwanted candles. I was delighted after my first purchase and had recommended this to friends. I had received a lovely selection in a variety of shaped jars. My recent purchase has left me quite disppointed with the poor selection of scents. 4 out of 5 candles were rather masculine scents (tobacco, sea salt) and there was only one soft floral scented candle. All were in standard glass tumblers. I understand that I cannot choose what I get, but it would have been nice to get a more rounded selection. I am a little gutted as I love the candles but can't afford to buy them full-priced.

I buy these regularly, and the value in the box has consistently been over £100, in my estimated totting up. And I always find an old favourite too. I gift some to friends and keep some for birthday presents. It is a magical day when the wanted arrive!
